Form     Structure    Function

Form in building architecture is the final output.
Structure is the set of physical and digital components, their interfaces, and the design rationales that control their evolution. 
Function in building is roughly equivalent to requirements.
The three basic elements need to be considered when design a house. And they have strong connections, so one can not be separated from the others.  A good design should combine them well in order to perform well.
